Stuart and Jess created a table designed around the summer solstice, which took place the weekend of the exhibition, to celebrate the height of the growing season and give thanks to the sun and warmer days. Built from foraged and seasonal materials including field mustard, achillea, ragwort and marguerites, the design drew on themes of gratitude, abundance and connection to the landscape. Earthenware vessels and handmade linen napkins – made by Stuart’s mum – contributed to a sense of warmth and gathering.
