Talena and Ebony’s table explored the character of two seasonal flowers: sweet peas and pansies. Using just these two ingredients, the design celebrated the movement, colour and individuality of each stem. Sweet peas tumbleed and twisted the length of the table, their tendrils looping and tangling together in what the designers describe as a conversation between the flowers. Long-stemmed pansies appeared throughout as small moments of colour and character, holding conversations of their own. The arrangement was intentionally open, allowing guests to see and speak through it. As the flowers interacted with one another across the table, so too did the people gathered around it.
