India and Jo always knew where they were going with their table. They both live on, work with and are inspired by Dartmoor, its tiny lanes and wild places. Where their fascination lies is in where the wild and cultivated meet in the art of our flower arranging, how one feeds the other in colour, texture and form. The boundary lines, the liminal spaces. Their table was designed to show the detail. To look closely at the petal, leaf and stem to think about colours and form and how the meeting of cultivated and wild change the feel of the piece. They encouraged us to take time to notice these tiny, perfectly imperfect details, the curl of a tendril, the painterly blend of colours in a sycamore key, the texture of a seed head. By gazing through the magnifying glass and taking field notes they believe we wer engaging in the truest form of season led floristry, the art of noticing and designing in this moment.
